Events were held in Gomel parishes as part of the Week of Parental Lovetranslated

During the celebration of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Mother's Day, meetings, concerts, creative and family events were held in Gomel parishes. The Week of Parental Love united children and parents, teachers and clergy, youth and representatives of the older generation, recalling the importance of family, mutual care and responsibility for loved ones.

On October 14, on the Feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos and Mother's Day, in the parish of the Church of the Holy Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon, after the Divine Liturgy, the rector, Archpriest Vladimir Sulimov, addressed the parishioners. In his pastoral address, he recalled the prayerful intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos and Her patronage of Christian families, and also emphasized the importance of parents in the spiritual and moral education of children.

On October 18, the celebration of the Week of Parental Love in the parish continued. After the Divine Liturgy, Sunday school students presented a concert program dedicated to motherhood and family values. The children read poems about the Mother of God and mothers and sang songs.
