The parishes of the Buda-Koshelevsky deanery celebrated the Intercession and the Week of Parental Lovetranslated

During the celebration of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos and the Week of Parental Love, divine services, meetings with schoolchildren and events dedicated to family, motherhood and honoring parents were held in the parishes of the Buda-Koshelevsky deanery.

On October 14, in the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the agricultural town of Glazovka, the rector of the parish, Archpriest Sergius Korzhovnik, celebrated the Divine Liturgy on the occasion of the patronal feast. Then an akathist and prayer service were performed with special requests for families, after which a religious procession around the church took place.

On the same day, Archpriest Sergiy Korzhovnik took part in an event for Mother’s Day at the Glazov House of Culture. The priest congratulated the women on the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos and Mother's Day and drew attention to the importance of honoring parents in everyday life.

The festive Divine Liturgy with a procession of the cross took place in the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the agricultural town of Kommunar. The service was led by the dean of the Buda-Koshelevsky church district, Archpriest Sergius Peshko, co-served by the rector of the parish, Archpriest Pavel Vechorko.

At the end of the Liturgy, Archpriest Sergius Peshko congratulated the believers on the Feast of the Intercession, and the women on Mother’s Day. IN…
