On September 21, 2026, on the day of the celebration of the Nativity of our Blessed Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, the vicar of the Rostov diocese, Bishop Artemy of Taganrog, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the city of Rostov-on-Don.

His Eminence was co-served by the secretary of the Metropolitan of Rostov and Novocherkassk for the city of Rostov-on-Don, Archpriest John Osyak, the chairman of the parish council of the cathedral, Archpriest Alexander Bryantsev, the rector of the cathedral, Priest Dimitry Bolotaev, the dean of the Central District, Archpriest Alexander Pyatnitsky, the chairman of the commission for the canonization of saints of the Don Metropolis, Hieromonk Mauritius (Zvyagintsev), dean of the Neklinovsky district, priest Sergius Kropivnitsky, clergy of the diocese.

During the service, the cathedral staff who carried out obedience in different years, as well as parishioners and pilgrims, prayed.

At the special litany, a prayer was offered for Holy Russia.

The hymns of the Divine Liturgy were performed by the cathedral choir under the direction of Protodeacon Vladimir Zubritsky. The sermon before Holy Communion was delivered by the cathedral cleric, Priest Alexander Slabodin.
