On the Feast of the Nativity of John the Baptist, Bishop Porfiry led the Divine Liturgy at St. Michael's Cathedraltranslated

On July 7, on the feast of the Nativity of the venerable, glorious Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John, Bishop Porfiry of Lida and Smorgon celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of St. Michael's in the city of Lida.

Concelebrating with His Eminence were the sacristan of the cathedral, Archpriest Vadim Ruban, Priest Leonid Chernyaev and Priest Seraphim Pashkevich.

The diaconal rank was headed by Protodeacon Anatoly Melnitsky.

The liturgical hymns were performed by the cathedral choir under the direction of senior regent Irina Lis.

The sermon on the sacramental verse was delivered by Archpriest Vadim Ruban.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, Bishop Porfiry addressed the worshipers with words of edification and gave an archpastoral blessing.
