On the Feast of the Nativity of John the Baptist, Bishop Porfiry led the Divine Liturgy at St. Michael's Cathedraltranslated

On July 7, on the feast of the Nativity of the venerable, glorious Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John, Bishop Porfiry of Lida and Smorgon celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of St. Michael's in the city of Lida.

Concelebrating with His Eminence were the sacristan of the cathedral, Archpriest Vadim Ruban, Priest Leonid Chernyaev and Priest Seraphim Pashkevich.

The diaconal rank was headed by Protodeacon Anatoly Melnitsky.

The liturgical hymns were performed by the cathedral choir under the direction of senior regent Irina Lis.

The sermon on the sacramental verse was delivered by Archpriest Vadim Ruban.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, Bishop Porfiry addressed the worshipers with words of edification and gave an archpastoral blessing.

Спасибо за новость. Приятно, что Вадим Рубан и проповедь сказал, и сослужил. Хор Ирины Лис всегда хорошо поёт, особенно в такие праздники.

Po mirë që Vadim Ruban e mbajti predikimin pas kungimit, e di që ai gjithmonë flet thjesht dhe me kuptim. Kori i Irinës Lis edhe këtë herë ka qenë i bukur, sidomos në festën e Shën Joan Pagëzuesit. Faleminderit për lajmin.

Merci pour cette nouvelle. J’ai bien noté que le père Vadim Ruban a prêché après la communion, comme d’habitude il parle simplement et droit au but. Le chœur d’Irina Lis était encore une fois très juste, surtout pour la fête de saint Jean.
