On the feast day of the Righteous Theodore of Tomsk, Archbishop Theodore celebrated the Liturgy at the Trinity Cathedraltranslated

On July 5, on the day of remembrance of the righteous Theodore of Tomsk and on his namesake day, Archbishop Theodore of Petropavlovsk and Kamchatka celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Concelebrating with His Eminence was Archpriest Victor Muzykant, rector of the cathedral, and Priest Roman Nikitin, cleric of the cathedral.
Liturgical chants were performed by the fraternal choir of the cathedral under the direction of I.V. Tymchuk.
At the end of the Liturgy, Archbishop Theodore was congratulated on his Name Day by the rector of the Trinity Cathedral, Archpriest Victor Muzykant, the clergy of the diocese, the abbess of the Holy Kazan Convent, nun Maria and the sisters, employees of the diocese, and parishioners.
The head of the diocese thanked everyone for their congratulations and said that our people still have faith that Fyodor Tomsky and Emperor Alexander the First are one person, that the conqueror of Napoleon and one of our most glorious kings did not die in Taganrog in 1825, but went into obscurity - became a wanderer of a holy, quiet life and was discovered many years later in Siberia under the name Fyodor Kuzmich.
