On the Feast of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, fashion design students visited the Church of the Holy Spirittranslated

On October 14, on the day of the celebration of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Church of the Holy Spirit was visited by second-year students of the Krasnodar Polytechnic College, studying in the specialty “fashion designer”.

The spiritual and educational meeting was conducted by the rector of the parish, Archpriest Sergiy Lopasov. The priest introduced the youth to the history and theological meaning of the holiday. The guys watched a presentation prepared by the Synodal Missionary Department and learned interesting facts from the history and culture of the country.

The program continued with a tour of the church. Students got acquainted with the interior decoration, wall paintings and shrines. The young men and women venerated the festive icon, lit candles and offered prayers before the image of the Most Holy Theotokos. At the end of the meeting, everyone was able to try themselves as a bell ringer. In memory of the meeting, Father Sergius presented the students with memorial calendars.
