On October 14, on the feast of the Intercession of the Mother of God, in all the churches of the Tsilninsky deanery of the Simbirsk diocese, rectors and clergy consecrated camouflage nets for our fighters located in the area of the North Military District. The networks are woven by volunteers - residents of different villages.

“The weaving of camouflage nets began in the village of Bogdashkino and then spread to all settlements of the Tsilninsky district,” said the rector of the churches in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. Upper Timersyan and village. Bogdashkino Archpriest Sergiy Izhukov. – Today there are about 27 weaving stations. The volunteers are both church parishioners and village residents who are just taking their first steps in Orthodoxy. Next, all these networks will be sent to a common collection point - the village of Bolshoye Nagatkino, from where they will be sent to the SVO area. We hope that such an action will be implemented on an ongoing basis in the future.
