Today, November 4, 2026, on the day of the celebration of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, more than 5,000 residents of the Urals and guests of the city took part in the Divine Liturgy and citywide religious procession in the Ural capital.

The celebration began with the Divine Liturgy in the Holy Trinity Cathedral, which was performed by Metropolitan of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye Evgeniy.

At the end of the festive service, thousands of believers with banners and the Kazan Icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary went to the Church on the Blood, stopping for a short prayer service at the chapel of the Heavenly Patroness of Yekaterinburg - St. Catherine.

The prayer procession was led by Metropolitan Ekaterinburg and Verkhoturye Evgeniy.
