On October 7, a meeting of the Orthodox youth club “Simbirsk” was held at the Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University, in which Ruslan Tkachenko, an expert of the Synodal Department for Youth Affairs, took part. The meeting was attended by the rector of UlSPU Igor Petrishchev and the vice-rector for educational work and youth policy Elena Papusha.

Ruslan Anatolyevich spoke about the educational program “Spiritual Connection”, implemented by the Synodal Department for Work with Youth, and about the shrine - the ark with a piece of the belt of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is located from October 3 to 7 in the Ascension Cathedral. The invited guest shared with future teachers his observations regarding the causes of infantilization of youth and noted the importance of building an adequate holistic picture of the world at a young age.
