The premiere of the exhibition “Belarusian Woman Through the Ages” took place in Polotsktranslated

On October 12, in the city of Polotsk, at the site of the International Family Forum “Talk about important things: a happy family is a strong state,” a traveling exhibition “Belarusian Woman through the Ages” opened for the first time. The premiere took place on the 2nd floor of the academic building of PSU named after. Euphrosyne of Polotsk.
The exhibition consists of 14 A0 format information tablets placed on easels. Each of them is a portrait and a short story about the life path of a woman who left a mark on the history of the country. The heroines represent different eras and spheres: participants in the Great Patriotic War, scientific researchers, educators, ascetics, as well as historical figures such as Rogneda.
A creative group of young specialists worked on the project. Ekaterina Lyakhova, the author of the texts, came to the project after university: she studied the lives and biographies of the heroines so that each story sounded lively and exciting. Danila Karpishin, a student at the Faculty of History of BSU, was responsible for historical accuracy. According to project manager Kristina Shabat, this composition is not an accident: “We always select those who are proactive, interested, and creative - and they are just like that.”
