On October 15, the day of the glorification of the holy righteous Alexander Chagrinsky as a Samara saint, the great consecration of the church in the name of the saint and the first Divine Liturgy after its consecration took place in the Pokrovsky Alexander-Chagrinsky convent in the village of Kirovsky, Krasnoarmeysky district. Metropolitan Feodosius of Samara and Novokuybyshevsk, Metropolitan Matthew of Pskov and Porkhov, and Bishop Sophrony of Kinel and Bezenchuk took part in the festive services.
