A stamp was presented in Paris in honor of the Russian Spiritual and Cultural Orthodox Centertranslated

On October 20, 2026, a landmark event took place in the capital of France, Paris - a postage stamp in honor of the Russian Spiritual and Cultural Orthodox Center (RSOCT) was officially presented.
This stamp was produced on the initiative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with JSC “Marka”, reports TASS news agency.
The image of the Russian Orthodox Church with the Eiffel Tower in the background is part of the series “Buildings of diplomatic missions of the Russian Foreign Ministry.” This series also includes Russian sites in Switzerland, Slovakia and the USA, which are of particular cultural and historical value.
– The creation of the Russian Orthodox Church became a significant page in the chronicle of the Russian presence in France and in the history of Paris itself. Today, residents and guests of the French capital, having seen the skyward vaults of the cathedral, the strict and at the same time elegant silhouettes of the buildings adjacent to it, never cease to admire the combination of architectural traditions and innovative ideas embodied in stone,” said Artem Studennikov, director of the First European Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, at the presentation.
The solemn ceremony of canceling the stamp was held by Artem Studennikov together with the Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, Metropolitan of Korsun and Western Europe...
