An educational meeting took place in the Olkhovskaya library on the eve of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Crosstranslated

On September 25, a spiritual and educational meeting was held at the branch of the Olkhovskaya Rural Integrated Library on the eve of the great Orthodox holiday - the Exaltation of the Honorable and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord. The event was organized for church parishioners and library readers.

The guest of honor was the rector of the local Church of the Holy Prophet Elijah, Priest Leonid Chernyaev. During the conversation, the priest spoke in detail about the history of the discovery of the Holy Cross, which, according to church tradition, took place in 326 in Jerusalem near Mount Golgotha. Particular emphasis was placed on the spiritual meaning of the holiday: Father Leonid explained why the cross, which was an instrument of execution, became for Christians a symbol of the victory of life over death and eternal salvation.

The meeting was held in the format of a live conversation. Participants actively asked questions regarding both the historical aspects of the holiday and its significance for spiritual life. At the end, Father Leonid distributed information brochures to everyone present - as a reminder of the significance of the upcoming celebration and spiritual guidance.
