In the Odintsovo diocese, with the participation of students from the Moscow Theological Academy, educational meetings were held with Istra schoolchildrentranslated

On September 15, in schools and lyceums of the city of Istra, educational meetings were held between students in grades 8-10 with students of the Moscow Theological Academy serving in the missionary department of the Academy.

The events took place within the framework of cooperation between the Odintsovo diocese and the Moscow Theological Academy in the field of missionary service. The corresponding cooperation agreement was concluded in 2025.

During the day, Academy students held 15 meetings with students from educational institutions in Istria. The total number of participants was more than 300 schoolchildren.

The topics of the meetings were devoted to current issues of the spiritual and moral life of modern man.

Discussions were held at the Lermontov Secondary School on the topic “Depression, Internet addiction, misunderstanding of generations and other modern problems of society and personality.”

At the Chekhov school, students were offered the topic “How our word will respond,” dedicated to the problem of foul language and a person’s responsibility for his words.

The Istra Lyceum hosted meetings on the topic “War and Peace. Orthodox Understanding”, during which students were able to talk about the Christian attitude to the world, conflicts and human responsibility
