In Novoselsk, schoolchildren visited a chapel and a holy springtranslated

At the chapel of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity in the agrogodlet of Novoselsk, Vetkovsky District, on October 30, 2026, a talk titled "First Steps in the Church" was held for students from 1st to 3rd grade of the Novoselsk State School.
The meeting was conducted by the priest of the parish of the Wonderworking St. Nicholas in Danilovichy, Protodeacon Andrei Bulatsky. He spoke about the structure of the Orthodox church, explained the purpose of the altar, the throne, and the altar table. The schoolchildren learned about the significance of the Gospel, icons, and the cross in church life, as well as about the lampada, candle, and prosphora.
The clergyman also explained how to make the sign of the cross, what priestly blessing means, and why it is important to maintain silence in the church and not disturb others in their prayer.
Then, the children visited the spring, consecrated in honor of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. This place housed a church dedicated to these saints 80 years ago. The children tasted the water and took some with them for their loved ones.
