A conversation dedicated to Saints Peter and Fevronia of Murom was held at the Novolyalinskaya schooltranslated

On September 21, 2026, at the State Budgetary Educational Institution “Novolyalinsky School” (Novaya Lyalya) for students in grades 8–9, a conversation “Love to the grave” was held, dedicated to the veneration of the holy noble princes Peter and Fevronia of Murom - the patrons of the Christian family and marriage. The event was held with the blessing of Bishop Feognost of Serov and Krasnoturinsky.

Priest Nikolai Melekhin, rector of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ, was entrusted with holding the meeting. During the conversation, Father Nikolai introduced the children to the history of a warm family holiday and its founders - Saints Peter and Fevronia, whose life path became a model of marital fidelity and mutual support. The priest paid special attention to the topic of Christian marriage: he clearly explained to the schoolchildren what the sacrament of Marriage is and what spiritual support it gives to a married couple throughout their entire life together.

The meeting was held in a trusting and friendly atmosphere - the children actively listened and asked questions. At the end of the conversation, the students warmly thanked Father Nikolai and promised with sincere interest to look forward to meeting him again.
