The “Faith and Charity” event took place in Novokuznetsktranslated

On June 27, 2026, the next stage of the diocesan charity program “Faith and Mercy” took place at the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral in Novokuznetsk. This initiative, created with the blessing of His Eminence Vladimir, Bishop of Novokuznetsk and Tashtagol, has been implemented since January 2018 and is aimed at providing targeted financial assistance to those who need it.
As part of the campaign, throughout June, churches of the 1st Novokuznetsk deanery collected funds for the purchase of 3D printers (5 pieces) and filaments for a 3D printer (40 kg) for the needs of military personnel in the Northern Military District zone. This assistance is an important step in supporting our defenders on the front lines.
The ceremonial transfer of the cargo to be sent to the front was attended by the dean of the 1st Novokuznetsk district, the rector of the Transfiguration Cathedral, Hieromonk Mark (Chervov) and the clergy of the cathedral. The equipment delivery mission will be carried out by a member of the Northern Military District, Captain Vladimir Mikhailovich Smirnov, which emphasizes the importance and relevance of this initiative.
