In Novocherkassk, the renovation of the church museum of the Archangel Michael Church is being completedtranslated

For many years, at the Archangel Michael Church in the city of Novocherkassk there has been a church museum, the exhibitions of which are dedicated to the history of the parish and various periods of church history on the Don. The reconstruction and renovation of the museum is currently being completed.
Under the leadership of the dean of the parishes of the Novocherkassk district, the rector of the church, Archpriest Oleg Dobrinsky, work was carried out on the historical restoration of the chapel of the crypt church, which houses the museum and tomb of the merchant Cossack, church builder and Don philanthropist Simeon Nikolaevich Koshkin.
Expositions dedicated to the history of the parish, the construction of the church and church architecture of the Cossack capital have been updated. The sections telling about the life and ministry of the Hieromartyr Zacharias, Archbishop of Voronezh, who served in the churches of Novocherkassk at the beginning of the 20th century, as well as St. Luke, Archbishop of Crimea, have been supplemented.
Special attention is paid to preparations for the 150th anniversary of the birth of St. Luke, which will be celebrated in 2027. A thematic exhibition and a series of lectures on the life and spiritual exploits of the saint are being prepared for the anniversary.
A new exhibition has also been created dedicated to the works of the first Don...
