A meeting was held in Novobelitsky TCSON within the framework of the Pokrovsky readingstranslated

As part of the Intercession educational readings “Christian teaching about man and the challenges of modern technologies” in the TCSON of the Novobelitsky district of Gomel, a meeting was held between Irina Vladimirovna Ignatovich, a teacher of the Sunday school of the parish of the Church of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky, and citizens of the older generation. It took place on October 7, 2026.

The participants talked about how digital technologies affect a person’s life: his development, self-image, communication with others and personal safety.

Then Irina Vladimirovna spoke about the elders - people who are revered in the Church for their spiritual experience and to whom they turn for advice. Listeners learned about the role of elders in church life and how their prayer and instructions help people.

At the end of the meeting, the participants were able to get acquainted with books from the teacher’s home library.
