The VI Diocesan Choral Festival named after Hieromartyr Vyacheslav Lukanin will be held in Nevyansk on September 19translated

On Saturday, September 19, 2026, the VI Diocesan Choir Festival named after Hieromartyr Vyacheslav Lukanin will take place in the Transfiguration Cathedral in the city of Nevyansk. Spiritual chants will be performed for residents and guests of the city, uniting festival participants in common prayer and glorification of the Lord.
The festival, dedicated to preserving the memory of the new martyrs and confessors of the Russian Church, will be attended by 14 church and secular groups, among them - the choir of the clergy of the Ekaterinburg diocese under the direction of Priest Alexy Rusin, the choir of the Holy Trinity Cathedral under the direction of Andrei Korobeinikov, the Ural Amateur Choir of the city of Yekaterinburg, as well as groups from Nizhny Tagil and Alapaevsk dioceses.
On this day, the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by Bishop Meliton of Nizhny Tagil and Nevyansk. During the service, chants will be performed by participants of the choral festival.

9:00 – Divine Liturgy;
11:00 – concert with the participation of choirs of the Ekaterinburg Metropolitanate.
