On July 5, 2026, on the 5th week after Pentecost, Archbishop Varlaam of Makhachkala and Derbent celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Assumption Cathedral in the capital of Dagestan.
The night before, the hierarch led an all-night vigil in the cathedral church.
