On June 21, 2026, on the 3rd week after Pentecost, Archbishop Varlaam of Makhachkala and Derbent celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Assumption Cathedral of the capital of Dagestan.

The night before, the hierarch led an all-night vigil in the cathedral church.
