Theological weekend courses “Time-Tested Truths” will be held at the Ministry of Internal Affairstranslated

From August 21 to 23, 2026, with the blessing of Metropolitan Benjamin of Minsk and Zaslavl, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, weekend theological courses on the topic “Time-tested Truths” will be held at the Minsk Theological Seminary in a full-time format.

The courses are aimed at parishioners of Orthodox churches, students, graduates and teachers of higher and secondary educational institutions, as well as at everyone who wants to improve their level of knowledge in the field of Orthodox doctrine. The lectures are designed both for those who are just beginning to become acquainted with the Orthodox faith, and for churchgoers who want to deepen their knowledge.

Classes are taught by teachers of specialized disciplines of the Minsk Theological Seminary and researchers of the history of the Zhirovichi monastery. At the end of each lecture, teachers discuss its topic with students and answer questions.

Thematic areas of the courses:

Holy Scripture; liturgics; history of the Belarusian Exarchate; fundamentals of theology in iconography; issues of pastoral care; sectology.
