THE XXII INTERDIOSECHAL FESTIVAL OF ORTHODOX CHANTS “GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST” WILL BE HELD IN THE LIDA AND NOVOGRUDSK DIOCESERStranslated

Children's, adult, church, secular and educational choral groups, vocal ensembles, as well as solo performers can take part in the competition.

Secular groups present a program containing works of highly moral and spiritual content. Possible works of contemporary Christian music. Performing works of spiritual content by contemporary authors is permitted.

There are two age groups for participants of the festival-competition:

I age group - children's groups (solo performers) up to 18 years old;

Age group II - adult groups (solo performers) from 18 years old.

The purpose of the festival-competition is to revive interest in the choral art of the Orthodox Church, as well as in secular works of spiritual content by modern authors. And, of course, to the best examples of sacred choral and vocal music of Belarusian and Russian composers.

Details about the festival-competition and conditions of participation, as well as a sample participant’s application, can be found in the Regulations on the FESTIVAL (in the gallery below and in the Telegram channel of the diocese).
