As part of the XXXII All-Kuban spiritual and educational Cyril and Methodius readings, on October 27, 2026, the work of the section “Missionary service of the Russian Orthodox Church in Kuban” took place at Kuban State University.

The section was led by Priest Evgeny Ignatov, who heads the missionary department of the Ekaterinodar diocese.

Archpriest Dmitry Polokhov (Vice-Rector for Scientific and Theological Work of the Saratov Orthodox Theological Seminary) presented the report “Digital replacement of the image of God: Christian anthropology before the challenge of artificial intelligence and virtual reality in missionary practice.”

Nikolai Vasilyevich Redkin (Vice-Rector of KubSU for educational work and social issues) spoke on the topic “Students and digital security.”
