The Krasnoyarsk diocese has begun accepting works for the “Beauty of God’s World” competitiontranslated

The diocesan stage of the XXII International Children's Art Competition “The Beauty of God's World” has started. The competition is held with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia as part of the International Christmas Educational Readings.
This year the competition is dedicated to the theme “The Beauty of God’s World: the Peoples of a United Russia” and is dedicated to the Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia, declared by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The goals of the competition are the spiritual, moral and patriotic education of the younger generation, introducing young people to Orthodox culture, identifying new talents and creating an environment for creative communication between children and youth of Russia, near and far abroad countries.
Competition nominations:
“Main theme” - works on the themes of the unity of the peoples of Russia, love for the small Motherland, cultural traditions (“We are one family”, “My small Motherland”, “Cultural heritage and traditions of the peoples of Russia”, “Many peoples - one country”, “Day of National Unity”). Age groups: 9–12 years and 13–17 years.
“Orthodox Icon” - for students of icon painting schools and workshops aged 13–17 years.
“Porcelain painting” - sketches of plates on the theme of folk traditions,…
