A festive religious procession took place in Krasnodartranslated

From October 29 to November 3, a car religious procession took place on the territory of the Kuban Metropolitanate on the eve of the celebration in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, as well as the Day of National Unity. The solemn procession took place in different dioceses of the metropolis and ended in Krasnodar on November 4.

On the feast of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God and the Day of National Unity, November 4, 2026, a festive religious procession took place in Krasnodar, starting from the Cathedral of the Holy Great Martyr Catherine and ending at the Military Cathedral of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky.

The prayer procession was led by Metropolitan Vasily of Ekaterinodar and Kuban.

The solemn event was preceded by the Divine Liturgy in St. Catherine's Cathedral of the city.

At the head of the procession were carried revered shrines, among which were the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God and the icon of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky.

At the end of the religious procession near the military cathedral, a prayer service was held in front of the shrines with the reading of a prayer for Holy Rus' and the singing of prayers to the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God.
