The work of the section of the Commission for the Canonization of Saints of the Ekaterinodar and Kuban Diocese took place in Krasnodartranslated

As part of the XXXII All-Kuban spiritual and educational Cyril and Methodius readings, the work of the section of the Commission for the Canonization of Saints of the Ekaterinodar and Kuban Diocese took place, dedicated to the glorification and veneration of the new martyrs and devotees of piety of the Kuban land in connection with the anniversaries of the Kuban saints.

The event took place on October 27, 2026 in the Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in the city of Krasnodar. The chairman of the section was Archpriest Alexander Kovalev, head of the Commission for the Canonization of Saints of the Sochi Diocese. The head of the section was Priest Andrei Nebavsky, Chairman of the Commission for the Canonization of Saints of the Ekaterinodar and Kuban Diocese.

Before the start of the section, Archpriest Alexander Kovalev addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, emphasizing that with the blessing of Metropolitan Vasily of Ekaterinodar and Kuban, for the first time within the framework of the All-Kuban Cyril and Methodius Readings, a section of the Canonization Commission was organized, in which representatives of all commissions of the Kuban Metropolis took part.
