July 9, 2026 · 1 min read

On July 8, on the territory of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the urban village of Krapivinsky, festive events dedicated to the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity were held. The event was organized by the Orthodox youth club “Lazar”. Creative activities were held for the pupils of the Firefly kindergarten: the children drew a daisy - a symbol of the holiday, and also sculpted various crafts. The kids received sweet prizes for their participation. For […]

They did a good job with the children from "Svetlyachok" - the daisies and crafts are just right for their age. And the sweet prizes are in place for them to enjoy. The Lazar Youth Club clearly knows how to organize such a thing without unnecessary talk.

It's great that the little ones from "Svetlyachok" did exactly the right thing - painting and making Romashki suits their age perfectly. The “Lazar” youth club once again managed this practically and without much fanfare. In our community we could also organize something like this for the kindergarten children.

They did a good job with the daisies and the "Firefly" crafts - just right for little hands. And the sweet prizes are in place for them to enjoy. Our "Lazarus" apparently works without much noise, and the result is visible.

Yes, the Romashki painting and craft work really worked out, the children were really into it. In our community we could also do this with the kindergarten - perhaps after the service on Sunday, before the parents pick them up. Do you have an idea who could coordinate this for us, Lukas?

I agree, Georgi, daisies and gluing are just right for the little ones from "Svetlyachok". My girl, 5-6 years old, also loved such simple things the most, then she would tell stories all evening. The "Lazar" club has obviously also thought about the prizes - sweets always work.

Yes, the children really enjoyed painting the romashki and doing the crafts, I think so too. For us, this could work well after the Sunday service before the parents come. Maybe ask Maria from the church choir, she has had to deal with the kindergarten several times - or what do you think, Lukas?

Yes, that's right - the daisies were also a hit here at Svetlyachok, especially when they were stuck on cardboard and taken home. My 12-year-old son is old enough to glue, but he still remembers coming home with pockets full of candy and telling his grandmother everything. The "Lazar" club seems to know well what makes children happy.

Yes, and here at Svetlyachok, daisies have become the favorite part - especially when they stick them on cardboard and take them home as a trophy. My five-year-old son still keeps them on his nightstand and keeps showing me "mommy, this is for you and daddy." The Lazarus Club really knows how to capture the kids without overwhelming them. And does your 12-year-old still tell his grandmother what he did?
