Tonight, September 20, 2026, on the eve of the celebration of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Metropolitan of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye Evgeniy celebrates the All-Night Vigil in the Ascension Church of the Ural capital.

Concelebrating with the Eminence Bishop was the assistant head of the protocol service of the Yekaterinburg diocese, the senior priest of the Ascension Bishop's Compound, Priest John Chernykh; clergy of the church: the head of the Youth Department of the Yekaterinburg diocese, Priest Seraphim Kadura, Priest Vadim Smolyakov, Priest Nikita Andreev, Protodeacon Mikhail Nikonov, Protodeacons Igor Romanenko and Dimitry Tarantin.

The chants were performed by the choir of the Ascension Bishop's Compound under the direction of Oksana Anatolyevna Bondarets.

During the service, a lithium was performed with the consecration of five loaves of bread, wine and oil.

At the end of the service, the archpastor congratulated everyone on the upcoming holiday.
