On the eve of the Feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, Bishop Ignatius celebrated an all-night vigil in the church of the same name in the city of Polotsktranslated

On October 13, on the eve of the Feast of the Intercession of our Most Holy Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, Bishop Ignatius of Polotsk and Glubokoe led an all-night vigil in the parish of the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the city of Polotsk.

Bishop Ignatius was met with a loaf of bread and flowers by the Sisterhood of the church.

His Eminence was served by: the secretary of the Polotsk diocese, Archpriest Alexander Petlitsky, the rector of the church, Archpriest Valery Ryzhankov, Archpriest Dimitry Avsievich, Priest Georgy Vaiskovich, Deacon John Kamenkov, Deacon Georgy Pugach and Deacon Boris Marmuzevich.

The liturgical hymns were performed by the parish choir under the direction of Alla Chelalo.

Before the anointing, the archpastor congratulated everyone on the holiday and addressed the believers with words of edification.

During the service, Bishop Ignatius anointed the worshipers with blessed oil.
