Slujba a fost lungă, dar am stat până la sfârșit. Corul a cântat frumos „Bucură-te, Mireasa, pururea Fecioară” la Vecernie, mi-a adus aminte de slujbele din tinerețe la catedrala din Timișoara. Mulțumesc lui Dumnezeu că am putut veni.
The choir always does a fine job with that hymn at St. Nicholas. I stayed through the whole vigil myself last time they served it; my knees complained but it was worth it. Glad you made it to the end too, Raluca.
The choir does handle that hymn beautifully, doesn't it. I only managed half the vigil this time—my back gave out after the first kathisma—but it was still a good night. Did your knees recover by the next morning, Samuel?
