Thanks for mentioning Father Alexander Petlitsky's sermon after the Gospel. I'm interested in exactly what he said because Pentecost Sunday always makes me think about the talent we've been given. It's good that Bishop Ignatius anointed everyone with oil at the end.

Thank you for remembering Father Oleksandr Petlytskyi's sermon. I am also always interested in how he explains the parable of the talents, because in our parish we often talk about it in meetings. And anointing with oil after Vespers — it always leaves the soul so calm, especially before Sunday.

Thanks for mentioning the sermon too, Mariana. Father Alexander spoke precisely about the talent that God gives us not to bury it, but to multiply it in our works - the same thing you are thinking about this Sunday. Personally, after such an anointing with oil, I always go home and knead the bread dough, as if it too is a small talent that needs to be used. And what do you usually do after such a service?

Yes, Father Oleksandr always explains the parable of the talents well, without too much water. In our kitchen after fishing, we also often talk about it with the guys from the ward. And anointing with oil also leaves me with such a calm feeling, as if the day already begins in a different way.
