On November 6, on the eve of Dimitrievsky parental Saturday, Bishop Ignatius of Polotsk and Gluboksy led Matins with parastasis in the Epiphany Cathedral in the city of Polotsk.

Concelebrating with His Eminence were: Secretary of the Polotsk Diocese Archpriest Alexander Petlitsky, Priest Georgy Odynets, Priest Vladimir Dzhezhora, Priest John Gavrilchik, Priest Georgy Dubovsky, Deacon Gennady Dzichkovsky, Deacon John Kamenkov, Deacon Boris Marmuzevich.

The liturgical hymns were performed by the bishop's choir under the direction of Natalia Semashko.

Parastas is a great memorial service for all deceased Orthodox Christians, performed on the eve of parental Saturdays on Friday evening.
