Divine Liturgy was celebrated in correctional colony No. 5translated

On October 28, 2026, on the day of remembrance of St. Athanasius the Confessor, Bishop of Kovrov (1962), the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in correctional colony No. 5. The service was performed by the rector of the Church of St. Seraphim of Sarov in the city of Penza, Archpriest Andrei Polyakov, and the cleric of the Church of St. Seraphim, Protodeacon Nikolai Bogovik.  During the Divine Liturgy, the condemned received communion of the Holy Mysteries of Christ. The sermon before communion was delivered by Protodeacon Nikolai Bogovik.
