On October 3, 2026, the first Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the church in the name of St. Luke of Crimea at the Revda City Hospital. It is the first hospital church in the city and has become a spiritual center for patients, doctors and staff.

The first Divine Liturgy in the new church was performed by the dean of the Revdinsky district of churches of the Yekaterinburg diocese, Archpriest Alexy Syskov, co-served by the clergy of the deanery. Also praying during the service were the sisters and brothers of the Mercy Service of the Elizabeth Sisterhood, believers who, one hopes, will become parishioners of the hospital church.

The church in the name of St. Luke of Crimea was built with the support of the Sredneuralsk Copper Smelter from December 2025 to May 2026. On September 19, 2026, the church was opened and consecrated.

Natalya Valeryevna Adrianovskaya, acting chief physician of the Revda City Hospital, noted that the appearance of the church is important not only for patients.
