Youth meetings continue in the Church of Saint Righteous John of Kronstadttranslated

On August 15, 2026, the thematic meeting “Science and Religion” took place. The speakers were Professor of the Rostov State University of Transport, Doctor of Technical Sciences Sergei Viktorovich Sokolov and the rector of the church, Priest Panteleimon Sheremetyev. Representatives of the parish youth community attended the meeting.

At the event, questions were discussed about the laws that operate in the world around us: physical and spiritual. Together with the speakers, we discussed how science and faith can coexist and why for many great scientists these two areas have never been opposites.

On August 23, a youth meeting took place with the rector of the church, Priest Panteleimon Sheremetyev. The theme of the meeting was “Divine Liturgy.”

At the meeting, young parishioners of the church watched a feature film on this topic and together understood the essence of the service: why the Liturgy is celebrated, what is its significance for a Christian, and why it occupies a central place in the life of the Church.
