A meeting with medical students took place in the Church of St. Nicholastranslated

On September 13, in the Tiraspol Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, a meeting was held between the rector of the church, the chairman of the diocesan department for work with youth, Archpriest Nikita Zaveryukha, and first- and second-year students of the Faculty of Medicine of PSU. T. G. Shevchenko. During the meeting, the clergyman spoke about Saint Luke (Voino-Yasenetsky) - a surgeon, confessor and archpastor, about his service to the Church and people during the years of persecution, as well as about the scientific activity of the saint and his works in the field of surgery. Particular attention was paid to the combination of the medical, scientific and pastoral services of the Bishop. The example of the life of St. Luke reminds us that professional knowledge and medical skill can become part of a person’s Christian vocation - serving one’s neighbor with love, mercy and responsibility. During the meeting, Archpriest Nikita Zaverukha answered questions from students. The conversation took place in a warm and relaxed atmosphere of friendly tea drinking.
