A sister Divine Liturgy was held at the Church of St. Luke of Crimeatranslated

Today, October 24, a Divine Liturgy took place with the participation of brothers and sisters of mercy of the Sisterhood of St. Luke of Crimea. The service was led by the spiritual father of the sisterhood, Priest John Usachev.
After the Liturgy, a meeting of participants was held, at which topical issues of compassionate service were discussed.
Exactly three years ago, a sisterhood was founded at the church, located on the territory of an emergency hospital.
During this time, warm working relationships have developed with the administration and staff of the hospital, and sisters and brothers of mercy work in several departments. The sisterhood is already implementing the social project “Route of Mercy”, collecting humanitarian supplies and helping those in need. It has become a reliable support for those who find themselves in difficult life situations: sisters and brothers of mercy provide spiritual support, help with care, bring patients what they need, and also organize fundraisers for low-income families and lonely elderly people.
The meeting participants noted that three years of service were only the beginning of a long journey, and expressed hope that the number of those who are ready to selflessly help their neighbors will grow.
