Meetings with children were held in the Church of the Nativity of Christ in Borisov as part of the “Orthodoxy Day in the Parish” projecttranslated

From July 8 to July 10, 2026, the parish of the Church of the Nativity in Borisov hospitably opened its doors to pupils of health camps of secondary schools No. 22 and No. 3. The visit took place as part of the diocesan educational project “Orthodoxy Day in the Parish.”

The creative conclusion of the conversation was the creation of a “sun of goodness” - the children wrote their good deeds and good intentions on the rays of paper crafts.
The highlight of the visit was a tour of the temple. The schoolchildren got acquainted with the church decoration, learned about the meaning of icons and the structure of the Orthodox space, heard a story about the feat of the martyr Julia of Carthage and reverently lit candles. The meeting left a bright impression on the children and became a living, visual lesson in faith and kindness.…
