In the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the city of Nizhnyaya Tura, a celebration of the Day of the Blessed Princes Peter and Fevronia of Murom took place - a day that is widely known in Russia as the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity. For parishioners, the celebration became an opportunity to feel spiritual unity and once again think about the importance of family values.

During the festive program, warm words were spoken about the importance of family, and excerpts from the lives of the patron saints of marriage were read.

A bright and touching moment of the holiday was a puppet show prepared by Sunday school students. Under the guidance of teacher-organizer M.A. Chernikova, the children sewed dolls on their own and thought out the images: effort and sincere love for the work were felt in every detail of the costumes. The performance based on the fairy tale “Little Bird and Marya the Needlewoman” spoke in simple and kind language about loyalty, patience and mutual support - qualities that help overcome life’s challenges.
