November 5, 2026 · 1 min read

On November 4, 2026, on the feast of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, the patronal feast took place in the village of Tarskoye, Prigorodny district of North Ossetia-Alania. The festive service was performed by the rector of the Kazan Church, Archpriest Vasily Schauerman, and the dean of the October Church District, Priest Dimitry Khestanov. The Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in the village of Tarskoye (formerly the village of Tarskaya), was built in 1890. In Soviet times, the church was converted into a club. Now the church is being restored and returning to its original appearance.
