Churches of the Chelyabinsk diocese help children prepare for schooltranslated

Parishioners of the Church of the Holy Righteous Procopius of Ustyug in the village of Brodokalmak raised funds and purchased a diary, notebooks, pens, pencils, paints, an album and other school supplies for the needy family. In the Church of the Tabyn Icon of the Mother of God, parishioners, together with the rector, Priest Stefan Koksharov, collected funds for stationery kits for three children's departments of the Regional Clinical Specialized Psychoneurological Hospital. The kits have already been given to the children. In September, parishioners plan to visit the children again and bring educational materials. The Church of Xenia of St. Petersburg in Chelyabinsk helped the pupils of the Aquarelle orphanage. 35 children received school supplies. At the request of the orphanage, the church fully provided its annual need for stationery. The “I want to study” campaign continues in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Upper Ufaley. Until August 24, new notebooks, pens, pencils, coloring books, pencil cases, backpacks and other school supplies are accepted here. Other churches of the metropolis also carry out similar actions.
