In the churches of the Annunciation diocese, prayers will be offered for doctors and medical workerstranslated

With the blessing of Archbishop Lucian of Blagoveshchensk and Tyndinsk, prayers for medical workers will be offered in the parishes of the Annunciation diocese in connection with the celebration of Medical Worker Day, which will be celebrated on June 21 in 2026.
In a circular letter sent to deans, parish rectors, governors and abbesses of monasteries, managers of farmsteads and clergy of the diocese, the special importance of medical service is noted, which is a feat of sacrificial love for people and is in many ways consonant with priestly service.
Archbishop Lucian blessed the performance of prayers in the parishes of the diocese for the health of doctors, medical workers and everyone who devoted themselves to serving people, preserving their lives and health. During the services, special requests will be made for the granting of wisdom, patience, and strength of mental and physical strength to medical workers.
Also, the clergy is blessed on the eve or on the day of the holiday to pay special attention to the employees of health care institutions in the territories entrusted to the parishes, expressing words of gratitude to them for their selfless work and care for their neighbors.
Medical Worker's Day is an occasion for prayer...
