The patronal feast day of one of the oldest churches in Sakhalin was celebrated in Kholmsktranslated

On September 21, the patronal feast day was celebrated by one of the oldest churches in Sakhalin - the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God in Nevelsk.

With the blessing of the archpastor, the festive service was led by the dean of the Kholm district, rector of the St. Nicholas Church in Kholmsk, Archpriest Viktor Krylov.

The dean's father was co-served by the rector of the church, Archpriest Konstantin Geraskov, and the rector of the St. John's Church in Gornozavodsk, Hieromonk Bartholomew (Makhin).

At the end of the service, Father Victor addressed the parishioners with a sermon and conveyed Archbishop Nikanor’s congratulations to those present.
