In Goryachy Klyuch, a priest took part in a celebration dedicated to Father’s Daytranslated

The Central Library of Goryachy Klyuch hosted a thematic event “Fathers are an example and support: passing on experience to generations.” Athletes, military personnel, Cossacks, liquidators of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant - the holiday united many men for whom the role of a father is common. The meeting was organized by the local branch of the Women's Union of Russia, its leader Lyudmila Bulanaya made a welcoming speech.

The event was attended by Priest Oleg Tsyganov, rector of the Church of the Theodore Icon of the Mother of God in the city of Goryachiy Klyuch. The cleric congratulated those gathered and emphasized that it is not for nothing that the husband is the head of the family. It is he who sets the moral tone of the home, keeps peace and helps loved ones feel safe. According to the meeting participants, the priest’s speech became a support for them and made a great impression.

Along with representatives of the older generation, students from school No. 4 were present at the celebration. Tenth grade students took part in an intellectual game. A touching moment was the performance of 9th grade students: they prepared a video greeting for their fathers and made cards for them.
