In Gorlovka and Lugansk, for the first time in twelve years, Liturgies for the deaf and hard of hearing were celebrated. Priests Igor Shilyaev and Lyubov Filimonova took part in a missionary trip to develop ministry to people with hearing impairments in the cities of the LPR, DPR and Rostov region. The car trip took place with the support of the Synodal Department for Charity and the Patriarchal Humanitarian Mission. The group members took the initiative to hold Divine Liturgies in five cities: Donetsk, Gorlovka, Lugansk, Rostov-on-Don and Taganrog. They also brought humanitarian aid, which was collected with the participation of the deaf and hard of hearing communities of the Vladimir diocese.
