Issues of monastic life were discussed at the Gomel diocesan administrationtranslated

On October 26, a working meeting between Archbishop Stefan of Gomel and Zhlobin and the leaders of the monasteries of the Gomel diocese took place at the Gomel diocesan administration.

The meeting was attended by Abbess Theodorit (Zolotarev), acting abbot of the St. Nicholas Monastery, Abbess Vera (Afonkina), abbess of the Tikhvin Convent, Abbess Ioanna (Yarets), abbess of the Assumption Convent in the village of Kazimirovo, Abbess Archelaya (Novikova), abbess of the Ioanno-Kormyansky Convent in ag.Korma.

The participants discussed current issues of monastic life and plans for the near future.

At the end of the meeting, Bishop Stefan thanked those gathered for their service and wished God’s help in further work.
