In Gomel we talked to schoolchildren about parental love and trusttranslated

On October 20, as part of the Week of Parental Love, the department for family issues, protection of motherhood and childhood of the Gomel diocese, together with the department of religious education and catechesis and the youth department, organized a meeting with students of secondary school No. 11 of Gomel.
The cleric of the Peter and Paul Cathedral, Priest Andrei Kisel, spoke with the eighth-graders.
The priest spoke about the importance of parental love, trust and the ability to forgive offenses. He drew the children's attention to how important it is to value parents, listen to their advice and take care of relationships with those closest to you.
As an example, Priest Andrei Kisel reminded schoolchildren of the Gospel parable of the Prodigal Son. Discussing its content, the meeting participants talked about parental love, mistakes, repentance and forgiveness, as well as why this gospel story remains understandable and relevant for modern people.
At the end of the meeting, the schoolchildren asked the clergyman questions about faith, prayer and spiritual life.
