Meetings for Mother's Day and the holiday of the Intercession were held in Gomeltranslated

As part of the Week of Parental Love, the clergy of the parish of the church in honor of the holy noble princes Peter and Fevronia of Murom in Gomel took part in events dedicated to Mother’s Day and the Feast of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Responsible for the care of deaf and hard of hearing people of the Gomel diocese, Priest Pavel Pereshchuk, attended a festive concert in special kindergarten No. 15 in Gomel. The institution's students prepared a thematic program: they read poems and performed songs in sign language, and participated in competitions.

Priest Pavel congratulated the children, parents and teachers on the holidays of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos and Mother's Day, wishing the families peace, mutual understanding and prosperity.

At primary school No. 63 in Gomel, a thematic lesson was taught by the parish cleric, Priest Ilya Fedorov. He told schoolchildren about the history of the Feast of the Intercession and the Christian understanding of the commandment to honor parents, and also answered questions from students.
